Kuno is a Belgian Malinois, and a retired military dog. He and his handler took part in a night raid targeting al-Qaeda extremists, and were engaged with grenades and machine-gun fire. Without hesitation, Kuno charged through a hail of bullets and tackled a gunman, saving the lives of his teammates.
